2.17. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA)
The supernatant of THP-1 macrophages was collected after WC-Co (150 μg/ml) treatment. Levels of IL-1β were measured using ELISA
kits according to the manufacturer’s instructions (Shanghai Hengyuan Biotechnology Co., Ltd, China). The absorbance was detected by a
microplate reader at the wavelength of 450 nm (Bio-Tek EL, USA), and the cytokines concentration of each example was analyzed according to the standard curve of IL-1β.
