Fully expanded leaves (0.1 g) from each Arabidopsis line were homogenized in 1 mL ice-cold extraction buffer ａnd centrifuged at 4 ?C for 20 min. The supernatant was collected ａnd kept on ice for immediate analysis. Hydrogen peroxide content was assayed using a plant hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) assay kit ａnd the superoxide anion content was assayed using a plant superoxide anion (Oxygen free radical, OFR) kit (Shanghai Hengyuan Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Shanghai, China). A microplate reader (Spectra Max M5; Molecular Devices, San Jose, CA, USA) was used to determine hydrogen peroxide ａnd superoxide anion level according to the manufacturer’s instructions (Li et al., 2022). Three biological replicates were performed per treatment.
